Reverse Osmosis
RO Plant
RO plants use pressure and semi-permeable membranes to separate dissolved salts and other impurities from feed water for drinking, process and industrial applications.

Reverse-osmosis treatment process
Feed water is conditioned before it reaches the membrane so suspended matter, hardness, chlorine and scale-forming substances can be managed. A high-pressure pump then drives water across the membrane surface.
The membrane divides the flow into treated permeate and a concentrated reject stream. The exact recovery, pressure and pretreatment arrangement depend on the incoming water analysis and the required product-water quality.
Available treatment range
The supplied Pure Waters reference presents RO systems across a capacity range of 50 to 500,000 litres per hour. Final sizing remains dependent on feed-water quality, daily demand and the intended use.
Common system stages
